PC REMOTE SALES™ - POS FOR REMOTE COMPUTERS
The PC Remote Sales program allows you to sell products or services apart from your main Tracks computer. If you have Tracks on your bookkeeper’s computer, you can run PC Remote Sales on a separate, non-networked computer in the student store to track sales of candy bars, gym clothes, school supplies, etc. You can also load it on a laptop or a computer on an AV cart and wheel it out to the quad to sell prom tickets at lunch. At the end of the day, it’s easy to merge all of your data into your Tracks system.
TEXTRACK™ - TEXTBOOK TRACKING
TexTrack lets you keep track of textbooks issued to students and faculty because it assigns a book and copy number to each textbook. To check out a book, you simply scan a student bar code, then scan the book — it’s that easy! Fees for damaged books and charges for lost or sold textbooks are automatically recorded on the student’s account in Tracks. Reports show books checked out by Teacher, Class, Textbook Title, and Student. You can even create your own custom statements to send to parents. TexTrack works for both schools that have a centralized book room and schools whose teachers hand out books in the classroom. Use existing unique bar codes on your books or new ones. It’s up to you!
WEB VIEWER™ - VIEW-ONLY ACCESS FOR NON-USERS
Blue Bear Web Viewer allows you to grant limited, view-only access to your accounting data to club advisors, teachers, and staff. Currently, your teachers can use Web Viewer to check out and check in textbooks right from their classroom computer using a browser. The enhanced Web Viewer 5.5 (scheduled for release in March 2005) can also display and print selected data from Tracks and SchoolBooks. This means the French Club advisor can check the balance in her account and see which students haven’t turned in money for the big fundraiser. She can see it, but she can’t change it.
IMPORT MANAGER™ - IMPORT FEE TRANSACTION DATA
Want an easy way to bill and collect fines and fees from other software? With Import Manager, you can load library fine data (or transportation fees, food service, or participation fees) from another program into Tracks. You can also load data from teachers or advisors directly into Tracks from an Excel file, so now it’s easy to get sales or student debts into Tracks with no data entry! The Pep Squad advisor can give you an Excel file showing all the students going to Cheer Camp with the payments they’ve collected so far. Then you can use the power of Tracks to collect and track the rest!
TRACKS PLUS™ - THIRD PARTY BILLING & 1098-T PROCESSING
Designed for Tech Schools and other schools who need to bill governmental agencies or other organizations for specific student fees, Tracks Plus allows you to create and print invoices, agency statements, aged invoice reports and more. You can also capture the detailed data you need to produce 1098-T forms for students and an electronic file for the IRS.
DISTRICT DEBT TRACKER™ - STUDENT DEBTS FOLLOW SCHOOL TRANSFERS
How can you collect the debts Student Ronald incurred at School A when he transfers over to School B? With District Debt Tracker, the debts from School A can follow the student over to School B. Then when monies are collected, School B can write a check to School A for the amount due. All transactions are handled automatically through Tracks and the software knows which money belongs to which school.
