Activation 2009 scheduled to be held in San Diego, CA on November 2 — 4, 2009 has been postponed until the spring of 2011.

After reviewing the registration numbers and our projected totals for the conference this year, the decision was made to reschedule the event. With the low number of registrations for Activation, we feel that the conference would not provide the same value and quality as it has in the past to our customers. Events such as Activation are a key component of the value we bring to customers and we do not take such a decision lightly.

The current state of the economy has without a doubt been a big factor in the lower-than-expected registration levels and we believe that a move to the spring of 2011 will allow time for the economy to recover. It will also give customers who wish to attend, more time to budget for the event. We have had success with dates in the spring for previous conferences and hope to continue that trend.

For those who have already registered for Activation 2009, you will receive an email with information on having your registration fees refunded. Room bookings made with the conference hotel can be cancelled free of charge directly through the hotel. If you have any questions, please contact Activation@ActiveNetwork.com.
